Heavy Heart.....

It is a tough day when your 10 year old shares with you a private conversation that she had with a friend.....and what the friend is going through makes you cry.  

This is when parenting becomes real and what you say and what you do REALLY matters to your little people.  

This is when, as a parent, you need to pass on to your little one the tools, words, and emotions, you use with them all the time, so they can use to help someone else.  In hope that it helps the person feel heard, seen and loved.  

I pray everyday that I am up for challenges like the one I am facing now......
