Here are some updated house photos from the end of August.

First Day of Second Grade - July 28th 2008

July is almost over, but I bet we can get in one more trip!!

For our last hurrah before school started, we headed to Cherry Hill in Ogden to camp for the weekend, swim, and hang with friends. We had a really nice time, ate some great meals, and swam until we were exhausted! It was a great ending to our July.

July Fun Continues......

The third week of July we headed to Oregon to spent time with Trev's family. We had great grandma and grandad, grammie and grandpa,siblings, spouses, our neice and nephews.....it was a great time.

We stayed in cabins right on the river that fed into Wallowa Lake, it was georgeous! We rode the tram, rode bumper boats, played in the lake, hiked, played miniature golf, ate ice cream, and Teagan's all time favorite, went on a horse back ride!

I have to admit that I also loved the horse back ride, it reminded me of growing up in Colorado. Living in a small town I had friends that owned horses and we got to ride occasionally, it was great! Trev was bit nervous that I would want to move back to a small town after getting a taste of my childhood!

There were deer everywhere and weren't frightened at all. At the beginning of the trip, we were totally exicted to see a deer, then by the end, we were totally desensitized, "Oh theres another deer."

Our crazy summer continued.....

The day after we returned from Lake Powell, Trevor flew to New York for a work related trip. He had a great time, as always.

We also had a great week!! My sister and Morgan flew in from Denver to spend the week!

It was just us girlies!

We went out to dinner, played, had several sleep-overs and went to LAGOON! It was a great week. It was nice to spend time with Wendy and Morgan and have it be....

Summer Full 'O Fun!!

Our calendar was totally blank going into our summer, however it filled quickly (as it always does)! :)
We were blessed this summer with some amazing trips.
The first week of July we went Lake Powell with Poppy and Sheshe (My folks). It was great to spent time with my folks, we just relaxed, chatted and hung out!

Trev made it his mission to rig the tarps on the Easy-Up to ALWAYS keep the ice chests out of the sun, it was full time job! We had to head the marina daily to get ice, it was $4.00/bag, almost as much as a gallon of gas!




We had a BLAST! We played hard, boated, had picnics, ate great meals, seared for lizards, hiked, swam, it was an amazing trip. Here is my trio tubing!!










Celebrated the 4th of July in style, played with sparklers, lit fireworks, it was a great way to celebrate!











Here is the a photo of our 'home away from home'. It was just like home....right!

As you can see, it was great trip. Some of us came home totally tuckered out!

Blogging Blunder - Is it really as hard as I am making it??

I am trying learn the blogging lifestyle, but I am struggling!! I tried to change my template and download the cutest template from a website that I saw represented on another blog.....No Luck!

(Sigh) Any suggestions would be helpful!
